A very scary scenario played out on the Dan Ryan Expressway in Chicago when a driver entered the interstate while traveling in the wrong direction.
At around 4:00 p.m., the male driver entered I-94 North but was traveling south. While operating his vehicle on the interstate he collided with a vehicle driven by a woman. The crash happened near 55th Street and in addition to harming the female driver and negligent driver, the accident caused property damage to a third vehicle involved in the incident.
The female victim’s injuries were so significant that she had to be taken to a local hospital. Doctors at that medical facility were able to provide her with assistance and ultimately stabilize her condition, which included injuries to her lower body. The negligent driver, who is suspected of driving while drunk, was taken to another hospital with less serious injuries.
The life of the female victim in this story is now forever changed by her involvement in this terrible wrong way crash.
